Of course I get sick on Friday night and am just starting to shake it off on Sunday night. I typed all my symptoms into webmb and it told me I was pregnant. >_<; NOT HELPFUL.

As long as it's not swine flu, my roommate will murder me if she gets it.

The mad dash for finals has begun, the last round of papers and speeches is nearing it's end. School will be completely over by the 15th. Thanksgiving break will help immensely.

I'll get to see my babies (XD). Sara has been showing off all of the games they teach at preschool and the twins have started walking (Sophia is already running), so I am prepared to be bombarded with AWEEEEEEE moments. Not to mention Mary's hair is now almost to her waist with curls. I'm hoping she lets me have some fun with it. Probably not, two-year olds aren't known for having enough patience to sit there while you play with their hair.

I have been loving Glee. It reminds me a lot of when I was wrestling. The whole experience of being the school team that gets completely ignored and shafted in terms of funding and support. Of course, the music is also great. Not to mention one particular hot piece of man-meat. *points to icon* He is not exactly a person of great moral fiber (getting a girl drunk on wine coolers and then getting her pregnant WTF) but he is pretty to look at. *^^* He's the guy to ogle at from a safe distance.

I just got off the phone with lowbatterie who agreed that I haven't been posting enough. This was after she was done laughing at the situation. Not that a blame her. I'm sure when I look back this will be hilarious. Right now I kind of want to put a bag over my head and cry.

Here's what happened.

For the last few months I've been practically living on fanficrants It's pretty funny what some people consider to correct biology and grammar. Anyway, it's a pretty big time community, so I've been nervous about posting and commenting. I finally worked up the courage to start commenting, and then on Nov. 5th I made my first post.

The post was about an Anime version of Romeo and Juliet. I fell in love with the characters and ended up praying that they got a better ending. While an episode was loading, I wanted to get an idea of how big the fandom was, so I decided to check out the summaries for the fic at ff.net. A summary gave away the ending.

I was pretty pissed. I think that spoilers shouldn't be in summaries. So I posted it as a rant. Here it is. I thought that it would be cool if I got a few comments along the lines of LULZ. But wow.

It exploded. Over 170 comments of heated debate over what constitutes a spoiler. *facepalm* People were getting really nasty toward each other so I decided to just let them have it out. I made five comments along the lines of, "My bad, calm down." and just watched the debate fizzle out. There, over.

Then, guess what I found today?

I GOT WANKED. HARD.

Over 400 comments on that one so far. Some of which are:

"spoiled by reading the summary of a fanfic? A fanfic of something you plan on reading or watching? Avoid the damn fanfic until you're all caught up with the canon! This isn't difficult! *uses one of her "Extreme Disapproval" icons for good measure*"

I honestly have no idea what to say. Ouch. My face is the same shade as my hair. I think I'm just going to back away slowly and whimper in the corner.

Well, that's it, I'm in my dorm.

My roommate is super nice.

I just heard some kid making coyote noises outside the girls' windows. Nice.

I felt like a bundle of nerves most of the day, but now I'm kind of excited. XD

I kind of love how at the at the first residence hall meeting, the student advisers felt the need to point out that being caught having sex in the dorm would have severe consequences.

Got to love catholic school.

Here's to a whole new chapter in our lives!

Since all the getting ready for college stuff has cause me to get all moody and weepy, I've been listening to the Goblet of Fire audio book while packing to cheer myself up...

I completely forgot about Cedric! *cries a sad cry*

It's not that I forgot that he died, it just took me by surprise because it's been so long.

On the bright side, I'm almost done with the EPIC-PACKING-FIASCO.

No matter how much I pack, the amount of stuff that still needs packing for college never seems to change.

My Mom was walking by and (seeing the mess that now remains), had this to say to my stepfather:

Her room is like the TARDIS, the inside is much bigger than it looks...

I move in this coming WEDNESDAY. I've also managed to make things worse for myself by agreeing to an all-day babysitting gig tomorrow for a single mother in the neighborhood. (She BEGGED, her first babysitter backed out and she had to work, what was I supposed to say?)

It would be best to get rid of this whole waiting until the last minute thing before college.

Back to college prep. Still haven't thrown away enough stuff. *scowls*

Just got done babysitting my cousins. They were loud and had some serious attitude but I'm good on gas for the next few months, so yaye!

I'm still making my way through Torchwood season 2. All that's left is the season finale. I'm waiting until tomorrow to watch it. I want to be fully awake for that so I can soak up all the awesomeness.

Also sad, my last Tourchwood episode. ;_;

I still need to finish cleaning out my room for college. The stuff I want to keep that I can't take with me to the dorms will be boxed up and put in the attic. I'm not even done yet, and I already have way too much stuff in my 'keep' pile. Bah. (Mom says my furuba plushies should be discarded, but I'm standing strong on that one.)

I've been rereading Fruits Basket during all the packing. When I picked up my volume 2, the cover almost fell off. I had completely forgotten that it was the first manga that I'd ever owned. My mother got it for me the summer before 8th grade. Fond memories. *^^*

If I'm ever going to get back into a not crazy sleep cycle before school starts I should get to bed.

It's been a while! Before I make an update on anything else, there is something that must be said on it's own.

Even though I'm eleven months late, let me just recognize the loss of one of the most adventurous and amazing women I have ever known. A woman who even though I have known since I was nine has never spoken down to me or anyone. A woman who guided me into the world of fantasy and fandom, who set up this livejournal for me, and who always had kind words of wisdom to share in times of need.

ter369 died of cancer on August 4, 2008 at 52.

I will forever remember as the strong, wonderful woman who she was.

I couldn't think of what to say as a way to honor her fully, but what better way to say goodbye than with a part of what she herself said on this journal that completely expresses who was.

Whenever I can't help myself out of a bad situation and feelings, I try to do something for someone else, however simple the gesture. - ter369  on July 20, 2007

There has been no rest this summer. So far it's been from SAT Preparation to helping with the Twins to visiting in New Jersey to doing almost nothing but looking for a job. 

Everything else was just shoved completely to the back of my mind. It's mainly been about the babies though. I'll post some pictures in another entry.


Personally, I wouldn't change anything. They are fantastic, all four of them.

Welcome to the world, my beautiful baby brother and sister.

Sophia Michelle Simms and Sean Michael Simms

Sophia was born first (because my little brother is a complete gentlemen already) at 2:04 PM, and Sean followed at 2:06 PM.

Both are healthy. When the doctor got a good look at them, he turned to my Dad and said "This is the healthiest pair of twins I've ever delivered." Both are over six pounds (plus 5.8 ounces for Sophia, and 3.9 ounces for Sean), and Maria is doing very well.

Words can't express my complete love and joy.

Has it really been over a month?!?!?! Man, I don't know if it's this year in general, or if it's just because I'm a Junior now, but I swear it was not this INSANE last year. Is it like this for anyone else?

Here's a summary of the month since I left for Italy.



I've also thought about college all this time too, I've redesigned my plan a few times. >_< It's scary and exciting at the same time.

I haven't seen any of the new Dr. Who or Torchwood since I got back. My Star Wars books have been my main escape. (Han just gets better and better as he gets on in years. He's such an awesome Father too. ^^)

That about covers it. If I think of anything else, I'll mention it in my next post.

Well, I'm off. Going straight from school to the airport. I'll miss you guys!
